Thomas Peter oversees the operations of all four IRS divisions including Environmental Services, Infection Control Technologies, Restoration, and HVAC Air Systems. He holds degrees in Chemical Technology, Environmental Sciences, and Occupational Health Science and is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). He holds certifications and has undergone specialized training in many areas, including Water Damage Restoration, Mold Remediation, Indoor Air Quality, and Building Science. Peter has published many articles on occupational health and indoor air quality. He often presented to industry groups, and contributes his expertise to Restoration Industry Association’s (RIA) Environmental and Government Affairs committees.

Joining IRS in 2000, Peter has an extensive background in occupational, health and safety, public health issues, indoor air quality and environmental compliance. He has exemplary knowledge in recognition/investigation, evaluation/testing and control/mitigation of occupational and environmental hazards.
